Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 23258)
From my early career years up until now, I have always had an immense curiosity and fascination for all the unique possibilities of human transformation and change, and the myriad ways in which those may flourish. I found in Psychoanalysis a language and a tool to increase spaciousness, understanding and self-knowledge, expanding our ability to engage with dark feelings without feeling overwhelmed. Creating meaning and developing emotional strength while feeling embraced by an increase sense of groundedness is what I believe this exploration leads to.
You will find me to be a curious, warm and caring clinician. I see both children and adults, in individual psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I am originally from Brazil, and offer my services both in English and Portuguese. In addition, I offer workshops, consultation, supervision and teach in a variety of settings throughout the Bay Area.
My main specialties are creative blocks and writer's blocks, immigration or acculturation issues, parenting and early childhood struggles.
